On Jan 1 2011 Heartbreaking dawns released "1498", a sauce featuring the trinidad scorpion pepper. To our knowledge (and many reviewers we have spoken with) this is the first commercial trinidad scorpion sauce to be released in the US! The name of the sauce, "1498" is the year Columbus landed on trinidad, making history.

Here's a review of the sauce, and an image of the labels. The sauce is now available on our website...enjoy :o)

That's a great looking label on your 1498 hot sauce...did you design it yourself.

And i see that there were some blueberries listed in the ingredients section.

I might have to order a bottle.;)

Thanks, and yes the Blueberries really hit some nice notes in there! :mouthonfire:
The label artwork was painted by Brian Marsman, he is a friend and tattooist from NJ. Brian also painted the artwork on the Mauvais Sang.

Just finished ordering a few bottles of the 1498 Tinidad Scorp sauce, as well as a few other of your sauces.

I was very impressed with your ability to quickly tailor the shipping option for me.

One of the nice things about dealing with a small business is that oftentimes they are much more flexible than a Corporate entity, and also fully realize that their customers still do matter.
