Should have more time for gardening this year as I am not working for the company, but self employed finally.  
 
Wanted to hit 100 varieties this season but came up short with just 76.  Not sure if they will all germ anyways.  Got many more varieties from the trains I rode and from ones I grew in the past, but they didn't really speak to me when I took the extra time to dig into them.

I did some research on the grubs/beetles that are making these 15" deep holes in my garden.
 
Of course now I can't find the website. But what I read said they are decomposers and you should not kill them, just like the soldier fly. They are there because of the organic composition of the soil...

Got my first ripe pods the other day.  Chenzo and Fresno.
 
 
 

 
 
 
Threw the fresno in my salad today and was impressed with the heat it had.  Didn't care that it was 100% lip burn.  Nothing bad, I just don't like lip burn.  Good flavor.

Made two omelets tonight.  One had a chocolate cayenne and one had a chenzo and fish pepper in it.
 
Cayenne I found zero heat, and the other omelet had just a hint of heat.

First Aji PineApple. Has a Lemon Drop kind of aroma, only sweeter. I was expecting it to have the typical Aji bitter after taste (like an grapefruit peel may have) but it didn't.

Mild heat that focused mainly on the top of the tongue. It tried to spread to the lips, but stopped at the gums.

Since my middle raised bed sort of collapsed on me this year, I am thinking about using RR Ties and making the three just one new garden spot.
