Heirloom lemon hots

Got a few of these from a friend. Interesting, the flavor hangs around, the heat level that is similar to a serrano dissipates quickly. Great little chilli!

They are one of my favorites. They are the most citrusy pepper I've ever had, they have a unique flavor, and they produce like mad. About 5 ripe pods per plant every single day like clockwork from a 6 gallon pot, and they were also my first plant to set pods. You can easily get several hundred pods per plant. They're awesome on Hawaiian pizza or in lemon based sauces. I think they would probably also be great in uncooked salsa but I haven't tried that yet. And you don't even have to order the seeds from the internet, you can get them in just about any hardware store, Burpee sells them as "Hot Lemon".
