Heyy how's it going everyone? So I'm new here to the forum, stumbled here by accident because I was looking for some cheap nursery pots online... LOL
I am not new to growing and have been growing veggies & peppers since I was a kid. So I decided to join the forum. At the moment I am only growing Habanero's( me and my dad/s favorite pepper). I have 7 total plants that I started from seed. I extracted seeds from a Habanero pepper, dried them out and germinated them. It took about 2 weeks for the them actually sprout. From what I've researched Habanero's can take up 3 weeks to sprout(FYI..That's news to me. Never grown this particular pepper before).
My plan is too keep two plants indoors so I will have a consistent supply of peppers throughout the year and these will be hydroponic in deep water culture buckets. The other 5 will go outside in 10 gallon pots(Just found some used one for 2.50 a piece!!!), I will be using Roots organic 707 soil(expensive but very worth it to me). I am excited to be here because I love growing!
Fyi... I started using fluorescent's, 2ft 2 lamp t12s(mixed spectrum, 2 fixtures) But now I have them under a 400 watt hps light.
