[Jalapeno]

Hello everyone! I'm Jalapeño, and I've been lurking here for a couple of months or so. I'm growing chiles for the first time in containers by an east-facing window.

I have this one kind of pepper that I can't identify. It's long, maybe 6-10 inches on the average (just a guess), green (one ripened to a bright red once), kind of wrinkly-fleshed, and hotter than jalapeños. I think it might be cayenne, but I'm not sure. I've only ever had those and jalapeños, as well as some hot sauces.

Either way, the peppers are nice and hot, sweeter than jalapeños, and go great with eggs.

Yep! Cayanne, possably Ring-of-Fire cayanne.
