Hi all,
I've grown peppers for a couple years now but never very successfully. This year is looking more successful now that I've figured a few things out about how to grow up here in the ol' north. Pots are definitely required, our season is just too short for in-ground (or at least makes it a lot harder to get going due to the cold ground temps). Funny thing is, my garden is a raised bed so you'd think that would be okay - but nope, pots are still far superior.
I've gotten hooked on growing these peppers and have ordered some more interesting (to me) pepper seeds - peppapeach stripey, aji lemon drop, fish peppers, habanada, aji fantasy... do I have space for all these? Not really, but I'm gonna figure it out this winter. I'm already feeling excited about next year and haven't even harvested any peppers this year!
Anyway, hello and thanks for being cool.
