Hello,
I have been a LONG time reader of "The Hot Pepper" website! It's almost like my Hot Pepper hand book, any question I have that has to do with peppers, I almost always get an answer or pushed in the right direction.
My name is Artie I live on Long Island (East Rockaway, NY). I have been making hot sauce in my kitchen since 1994, same old story here, Friends and family love it and they are always pushing me to go big. So I am taking their advice and I am starting up a hot sauce company and brand. It's called Uncle Artie's Hot Sauce and it's a Habanero mash base and quite flavorful. Boutique Hot Sauce with an artisanal approach that has slight changes from Batch to Batch. The Mash is aged in spent Bourbon cooperage from the Hudson Valley of NY. The hot sauce is made in small batches using an old Brew Kettle. Only fresh ingredients locally sourced from farms on Long Island and NYS goes into the sauce and It is made on Long Island. Working on a label right now and when that's done its time to push it to the next level...
Cheers,
Uncle Artie
