Hi there "gute leute" (good people: can't resist sayin' in german :D)
find this forum just yesterday over net after searching for a chili forum and find it interesting because of topics, discussion, information

i live in Darmstadt (near Frankfurt), Germany and by profession spacecraft analyst in european space agency. i love chili in my cooking (curry, salad-dressing, sauce)

i hope to have good time with all of you :)

Hey there JD! Germany is beautiful, I've been there twice. My dad was born in Abenburg near Nürmburg.
You should check out the last Oktoberfest Throwdown, my wife one with Saurbratten, Spatzle, and Rott Cabage.

i think i was lagging of this "luck" factor :)
my very 1st attempt to grow chili pepper was almost disaster, all of the young plants were eaten by some white color fly maggots
my 2nd batch has been just started

yes, this profession is indeed rewarding, being involved directly with the spacecraft during its whole life cycle (i.e. starting to build up till deorbitting)

its as exciting as growing plants, seeing the first germination and letting the little babies grow, taste the wonderful flavors and somewhat sad when get died
