Hello from Italy

What I meant was that the translation in Spanish for what pr0digal_son is roughly "arse whale" and I was wondering if it's the same in Italian. There must be different context though.

Ok now i've understood. I'm sorry but i didn't realized that you were referring to the user name. "Arse whale" in italian language is a greeting, a sort of wish. We do use this expression especially when we wish to a student to have good luck in an exam that he's going to take. It is like the "break your leg" expression, used in the UK. 
And the answer "speriamo che non scoreggi" can be translated in " let's hope that the whale doesn't/ won't fart" :D

Absolutely do so!  I was there for the month of January, 1977, studying art history.  So much history, so much to see.
