Howdy, my name is John and I like hot....peppers. This isn't my first post... I know, sacrilege.
Not really into superhots yet, and this is my first year growing peppers from seed. I have red habs, paper lanterns, tobago seasoning, cayenne, and black pearls for ornamentals. This is my third season gardening. Previously have grown cayenne, Jamaican red, serrano, and jals. Tomatoes are the highlight of my garden but how can you make salsa without chiles? I love the heat and I'm slowly getting more curious with the hotter ones. Bhuts, fatalis, scorps etc. are down the line, hopefully when my garden expands in the coming years I will experiment.
I started a little late unfortunately, but most have sprouted. The paper lanterns and habs are flying(sprouted in 4 days). I thought those would be the slowest. Unfortunately no tobago seasonings yet. If all doesn't look good come Memorial Day, I may just buy some plants as usual. Crossing my fingers, because I need me some paper lanterns.
