Hello from Michigan!

Hello, everyone!

My name is Mike and I have an addiction.

I LOVE spicy food!

Last year was my first attempt at growing anything at all, even house plants, etc. I did OK, just some jalapenos and cayenne from home depot seeds (rookie mistake as I bought habanero and they turned out to be bell peppers...GRR).

This year I am starting quite a few much more fun peppers. I (hopefully will) have Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion Butch "T" Trinidad Scorpion, Ghost, Naga Viper, Chocolate Habanero, White Habanero, Golden Habanero, Scotch Bonnet, Purple Jalapeno, and a mini bell mix. I'm excited!

Seeds are planted (today) and I am waiting for the sprouting to begin! I am buying a heating mat and grow lamps tomorrow.

I hope to be a productive member of this fine community! Happy growing!

Welcome from.............Chicago

Good luck with your super-hot grow!
Pour the lights on the seedlings when they emerge. By the time you plant out they should be a decent size.

Thanks, everyone! I'm sure I'll be asking too many questions once the seedlings emerge, but I'm sure you'll all be there to help! I can't stop reading since I found this forum...

I was born in Detroit. I used to live in Farmington. What's that, about 20 miles from you? Now I live where the cold rain and snow and wind and sleet and hail never is. If the Beatles lived here they might call it Pepperland.
