Hello from the deep south. I'm just beginning my education on extremely hot peppers. I spent most of my life in New Orleans and was pretty sure I knew everything about hot. I'd shake a half a bottle of Tabasco on my fried shrimp po-boy and see my friends as adventure-less children for just using a drop or two. The hottest thing I'd had up until last year was a Caribbean Red Habanero...I thought that was the ceiling for hot. Then I saw a Bhut Jolokia video on YouTube. My eyes are open now. I ordered some Jolokia seeds and grew them last summer. The first bite full of crunchy seed and membrane sent a shot of adrenalin straight up my spine into brain cells I thought I drank away years ago. I've got the seeds from my first crop germinating right now and I'm ready to push the envelope even farther. I can't wait to take advantage of the info on this forum. I'd really appreciate any advice or pointers as I start to explore whats out there.
