Well, I'm not a complete greenhorn, but pretty darn close.  A couple of years ago I started seed late on some grocery store jalapenos and got one plant with 3 unripe peppers before winter took it.  I ate them anyway :party:
 
Looking forward to getting this years attempts going and sharing the results :)
