Hello from Scranton Pa

Hi everyone. I've been reading this forum for some time now, I gathered a lot of great information and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Dave I'm 26 and I've been gardening for 3 years. This was my first year growing, eating and fermenting extra hot peppers ie. chocolate habaneros and Jamaican hot chocolate peppers. Everything turned out great and I can't wait to grow and eat some super hots next year. I know how much everyone likes pictures here so I'm going to leave you guys with some pics from my garden and my first and currently active ferment.
Cheers
Dave

:welcome: from over here in SWPa.

Nice set up with those raised beds.

Where did you get those 'air lock lids for that type of jar', if I may ask ???

Thanks I fabricated the lids myself. When I was researching how to ferment I stumbled across pickl-it jars and that seemed to be the best solution for me. That was until I added up the cost of getting a few of those bad boys, so what I ended up doing was going to lowes and picking up a 3/4" diamond tile drill bit for about 20$. I watched a video on YouTube on how to use it and then drilled out the top of a few fido jars and inserted a standard airlock grommet and airlock from my local homebrew and hydropnic store. It was pretty damn easy and way cheaper oh and there's a guy on eBay that sells lacto ferment glass jar weights that work really well with my setup. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
