From Sweden - total noob, never grown a thing in my life, other than a chestnut tree that I planted, at the age of 4, in my parents back yard. When I was 17, it had grown 2 meters tall and we moved to another city. The new owners of our old home cut it down - very sad.
I received a "fun thing" for Xmas two years ago. It was a "grow a bhut jolokia in a beer can"- thing from an online gift/trinket shop.
It is now growing in a bucket on my balcony, it has about 10 fruits in various sizes, whereof two are fully grown. Just waiting for them to get ripe now.
