My name's Viv and I run a small hot sauce business, Viv's Kitchen, from my home in Teddington, UK. I recently just launched my first hot sauce, Mango Madness, which I am very excited about!

Something in the back of my mind is saying Teddington Lock is the limit of the tidal river Thames.  Is that right or did I muddle it up?

Hi and thanks for the welcome! Yes, you're correct, Teddington Lock marks the boundary between the tidal and non-tidal Thames.
