Joined because I want to know if trying to make a hot sauce is worth my time or if its too much effort. I use hot sauce on almost anything I eat. The sauce I find the most amazing is Chipotle Slam from Blairs. I really dont find any other sauces like it. Its not overly powerful that puts you in pain but its incredbly flavorful and it makes anything I eat with it amazing. I have used sauces as hot as Blairs ultra death and after death but its really not enjoyable. Id do a drop on an entire cheese steak. After pushing myself to sauces like that Ive come back to a range that makes my food enjoyable, not painful.
My interests in sauces are for direct application to food. I dont really make soups or chili.
Im here to see if making sauces of this style and quality is a reasonable expectation. Most notable this sauce has a much thicker and chucky consistency.
