I was thinking about this... We still have different rules. European train means customs, US train - no customs... Dunno the costs... For example if I send something from Romania, is much cheaper to send a bubble envelope (having a tracking number) than sending a box. Bubble envelope is sent as mail (up to a specific weight), the box as package. I can send this from a simple postal office, no need to go to the customs postal office.
When receive such one, I will have to go to the customs. The man from there already knows me, the guy with pepper seeds :) Yesterday I gave him some peppers, I hope next time will not shoot me!
We could study this though...

Yes I think with a bubble envelope we can avoid customs, and us definately cheaper, we should set up a seperate thread to see if there is enough interest because I know for sure there are enough wonderful members to make it work!

Your idea - so, start a topic to see who's interested :)
I'm in!

BTW, I have sent even peppers in a bubble envelope, from Romania to Slovenia, they reached in pretty good shape, some of them were a bit broken, but not rotten, even if took a bit longer than I expected. And imagine, I had to pay for this less than 0.5 euros! It was a simple sending, no tracking number, no value, no nothing. Maybe the positive thing was that now is colder. Don't know if this work over summer.
