Help! a black screen every time openning a new thread

Hi,
I have this problem for the last few weeks. Every time opening a new thread, a black screen covers most of the computer screen. It disappears when I click refresh...

any idea how I can get the thread the first time without refreshing it?

Sounds more to me like your graphics card might be on it's way out. I'm not having that problem and I use two different computers - one a PC and one a Mac.
 
FWIW: I ran into strange compatibility problems with some financial websites after an upgrade to the latest Internet Explorer.
Rather than abort the upgrade, I jinstalled Google Chrome as an alternate browser and it worked perfectly.
I now use Chrome as my main browser, it has been flawless and I think it's faster.
 
Could be your RAM or disk space. If running low resources it won't load. But refreshing usually loads it.
