greenhouse Help needed, green house growing

Hi all,

Just wondering if you could help me out? Im new to growing in green houses. Im after some general advice on the do's and dont's. Ive got alot of small green houses suited to 4 plants only and I have had a few issues. Ive been letting them have air for a few hours a day and this has seemed to shock a few plants..loosing their leaves etc....not sure if this is ok?

cheers, Scorp

for me here in Brisbane the hardest thing with green houses is air movement. I had alsorts of problems but we might have more natural humidity here. I advice a fan on a timer. Also reguliar spray regiume, Neem is a good start.
Once you get aphids in a green house....nightmares about that lol.
I just don't use grenhouses anymore lol
But my weather is pretty kind.

So far mate after putting a Scotch and a Naga into their own greenhouses for the last two weeks I have noticed that the Naga is starting to get white spots on it's leaves, I have yet to research this but I suspect it could possibly be mould, I need to take the greenhouse off tomorrow and have a look.

The only thing that I could think of is if the Temps got too high in the greenhouse, that could be the cause of your leaves, but our days have not really been that hot. I leave mine in the greenhouses 24/7 and so far havn't noticed any problems (besides the naga), I do have a Choc Hab that has decided within the last week to drop all it's leaves (The two larger Choc Habs are fruiting and are fine) ... but that is not in a greenhouse, and it is only plant which decided to do that. I feel like hitting it on the head and throwing it under lights ... actually ... that is what I should do ...

I'll bring some Photos around to show ya next time I see you.

I am building a 5m x 4m x2m high greenhouse for winter, might even throw a HPS in there. If you need ideas on how to build your own I can show you some tricks to save a lot of cash.
