I've been making sauce for about 20 years now, with my most recent sauces made by a buddy who grows tons of peppers not far from me. Marylad has a short growing season but just enough for peppers basically.
Decided to start growing my own peppers and am now on day 22 and beginning to finish transferring to 4in pots. I found this site by purchasing seeds from Matt's Peppers and was interested in how he came up with the Mattapeno and I read the entire 14 pages of the thread, although it ended abruptly and I didn't get to see the Mattapeno 4 x Mutant that was purple. It looked awesome.
I also joined the Pepper Chums discord and hope to learn a lot there, as well as here by watching other people's grows. I have two IRL grow friends who have helped, and I've even had AI help keep my charts and notes organized.
Anyways, nice to meet you all. I plan on being an avid participant and sharing my grow with you all. Here is my progress so far.
