Hey guys!

I’m excited to be here! - I’m a novice with a green thumb. I’m fresh into a cross-breeding project which started as a stupid bet for a trivial sum of money… but now is consuming me.

My pepper patch this year is full of assorted annums with a handful of superhot chinense (reaper, ghost, scorpion).

I make a few gallons of hot sauce every year for friends and family but… I think I’m ready to step up my game. I bought more grow lights, heating mats, rooting powder and gel, assorted new 1-ingredient single-element fertilizers… and I cleared about 200sq ft in the basement to dedicate purely to pepper overwintering/sprouting/cloning.

I just ordered about a dozen kinds of new-to-me seeds and a few old favorites. will probably start them all in about 60 days after settling the existing plants in for the fall after harvest.
