Hi everybody!

Hi! I'm trying to grow peppers for the first time in Boise, ID. I started seeds from Italian long hots and cherry peppers in the last week of February and they're looking great. Soon, it will be time to transplant. I have never had good luck growing anything since I lack direct sunlight and live in an older apartment with leaky single pane windows so the average indoor winter temperature is probably around 55. This year, I got serious and bought two grow lights and heat mats. I started with a tray with room to plant 48 seeds, planted about that many, and got 32 plants! I've given away quite a few but I'm left with a pretty good number for myself. I joined the forum because, given my history, I have a million questions about how to keep these little guys alive. It's nice to meet everyone!

You'll find all your answers in the glogs and the Growing Hot Peppers forum. That's where I found the best info. And WELCOME to THP.
