I was going to ask with my ex-wife to get me some Koju pepper seeds from her aunt in Jeollanam. I would be glad to share with someone who (from what I can see) appreciates it. Well, it might takes several weeks to get them to France, then ship them to the US, but if you're not in a hurry... Let me know!

I'd surely be interested! I could trade some of my other varieties in return. I have 6 varieties of Gochus for a total of 42 plants sprouted at the moment. If you want to check out my (recently started) glog (I've been such a slug this spring...) you could check them out. Think your ex's Aunt could get some Cheong Yang seeds? They're the hottest Korean variety, and the ones they use for "Ponytail" Kimchi... that stuff will grow hair on your chest!

Yep, I definitely can get CheongYang seeds from the Ajjuma. She's got a huge pepper garden back in Jeollanam, and I remember her cooking for me with very strong peppers. Pretty sure it was Cheongyang. I will make sure it is Cheongyang, and get her to ship me seeds to France I'll keep you posted.
I'm definitely in for the trade! Anything mild spicy, and tasty is fine for me (I am getting stomach problems, lately, so I am trying to calm down on the capsaicin...). I fell in love with Jalapeno while I was living in the US, but cannot put my hands on Jalapeno here in France...
EDIT: I used to brew Chonggak Kimchi with ex's mom every year. This stuff definitely grows hair on your chest...

OK... you're on! Drop me a pm (private message) when you have them in hand, and we can exchange trade lists and mailing addresses then. The seed sources I have for Asian vegetables here in the States don't have true Altari Radish seeds... they're hybridized varieties that have the radish's bite bred out of them. Do you think she could get seeds for the real thing?

Ok, so I checked with her. She cannot get Chonggak (radish) seeds, as she does not grow them, and litterally lives in the middle of nowhere.
But we're on for Cheongyang, she'll drop them at the local post office when she has time. I'll let you know when I receive them.

Please let me know when you know more, and thanks for your efforts!
