Hi from Israel

Hi Everyone,

I've been sitting on the sidelines for a while, and was inspired by you to start growing my own peppers.

Funny how i started with a humble order of 5 peppers, and as of now I've got over 300 seeds from 32 varieties germinating.
I'll start a proper GLOG, just wanted to introduce myself first.

My name is Amir, proud father of two boys.  I'm 40 and work in IT.
This will be my rookie year growing anything, and unlike some recommendations to start slow I've dived into the deep waters from the start.
(that’s another way of saying I got carried away and did not show any self restraint)

My wife's family has a wholesale plant nursery business, they grow flower pots annuals and perennials.
I'm using their facilities to start which is really making things easy.

Let's hope for a good year

Hi and welcome Amir. Using nursery facilities sounds like bliss. At the very least you should post pictures of your chilli kingdom, so I can admire it from afar!

:welcome:   From Mtn. Grove, Missouri USA.  Nothing like Jumping in Head First, I could not live on 5 plants when I could grow a 100.  Although I have cut back some the last two years, this year I have about 75 plants but will be culling about 25.  Having a nursery handy makes things go so much easier.  Oh yes Photos, Photos, and more photos.

Welcome Amir. I think it's great starting out with a good amount of plants. It keeps you occupied and if you mess up. The odds are in your favor for recovery. Plus you get to choose strong plants. If it's to much work. Worst case you give some away and let someone else enjoy growing chiles. Good luck.
