I am a retired fellow living in Maine. I grow peppers and other stuff under T5 LED lights. I also grow peppers outside during the summer months. I am primarily a container grower. What else you want to know, just ask.

It's a nice thought, but retail sales are not being allowed until on or after February 2018. The old rules still apply, find someone with a medical card to give you seeds/clones/plants or buy from the black market. The Maine Legislature is struggling with how much sales tax to charge, right now they are talking about 20% tax, no one is talking about allowing retail sales.
 
The bottom line is, I am in waiting mode, waiting for the state to fulfill their responsibility, to make retail sales a reality. 
 
I am hoping to be growing some weed next growing season, so am hoping to get some plants in the spring.

At the time I didn't know where I could get seed/clones/plants, I think I now have someone who can help, but going into winter, probably it is best to wait until spring. I was uncomfortable on ordering through the mail. I can't afford to endanger my place, just in case Sessions decides to make an example out of me. At this point, I will wait until the spring.
