Hi and best wishes to everyone. I am Seggaeman from Mauritius. This is a tropical island and the climate is pretty good for growing peppers. But unfortunately we only have frutescens varieties here.
During a trip to Barcelona in April I bought bought a small plastic can containing five habanero peppers. Suffices to say that I got badly burnt when I took a bite into one of them . I saved some of the seeds and I'm so glad I did because here's what I got as reward, after I sowed them in May:
Afterwards I transplanted them in my garden.
As you see there's one that's growing flowers. But in general they have stayed small. None of the plants is taller than 10 inches. What could be the reason? Is it perhaps because I sowed all the seeds in a single pot at first?
