im a bit dispondant right now.

Solution
hi guys
just an update, it seem that when i potted my seedlings, i packedthe soil too tight. ive repotted the seedlings that all seemmto wanting to grow, they all had this bulbous part of te stem that lookedlikeit was bursting to breakout. they are now in a much less packed pot so we'll see how they get on.

cheers chaza
I see that the soil is covered in green algae, it could be the cause of too much humidity, the algae can act as a plug and create hydration problems and consequently development problems for the plant. You can remove that layer with a teaspoon and water when the soil is dry. Over-hydrated plants tend to become droopy

Thanks for that, it's good to know. I'll remove it tomorrow.

Cheers

Hey don't sweat it, we all can say we've been in these same situations and if you haven't your lying. It's not just throwing some dirt in a container and adding a seed. The trial and error along with interest of the whole process will lead to better growing. I sure you'd do a lot of things different already, your on your way.
Second to the no pruning, they been thru enough.

Well, chaza
I am not sure.
The yellow could be from pH issue. The curled leaves could just be stress on the plants.
If the soil is good then the plant will adjust and grow new leaves and drop the old leaves when they are used.
Make sure you are giving them dry period in between watering.
Don't keep them too moist and see how they do.

As the plants are getting bigger, any tips on pruning these suckers.
Cheers

i losrt some vital growing time with that damping off business.

I was searching for a Bio-Fungicide you can use when watering your seedlings with to help prevent Damp Off & Fungus Gnats.
It's called Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens a Bacteria that Kills the fungus that the FG larvae feeds off of starving them & kills Damp off fungus protecting the seedlings. I have used it for 3 seasons now with fantastic results so far.

You may be able to source it from a Plant products store. Here we just buy Southern States Garden Friendly Fungicide.
I could not find it , ( Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens ) on UK Amazon. However it may come by another name where they sell Organic plant products.

I wanted to chime in here RE fungus gnats. I had always knew about the mosquito dunks, but I found the same thing in granules a couple of seasons ago, and ever since using the granules, I have had zero issue with fungus gnats. I mix it in with my soil when putting them in pots, and you can also just sprinkle some on top of the plants that are already potted. See attached image...
