I started eating spicy things about 6 months ago. First with jalepenos in food, then putting tapatio on my food. Now I'm buying hot ass sauces and putting habineros in my salsas.
I'm having an issue with the super hot hot sauces though. I bought mad dog 357 and Dave's ghost pepper naga. They claim to be 357000 an 650000 SHU but when I eat them as a sauce they are not that hot. I put some and cooked it with pizza and that seemed to activate the sauce.
So I'm wondering if I need to activate these sauces prior to putting them on my food. How do I activate them without cooking them with the food?
