Alfredo here from Chile (btw. the name of the country and peppers have nothing in common - as a matter of fact, hot peppers are called AJI or AJIES (plural) here).
Unfortunately there is no real pepper culture either (compared to mexico or perú
... but without any doubt hot peppers are well known and abundant, just not extremely spicy.
I will be starting a grow-blog shortly, without any specific agenda ... just a "documentary" of me growing stuff.
