Hola from San Leandro, Ca

Greetings all!

My name is Benjamin Eksouzian and I live in San Leandro, Ca just south of Oakland. I have been making fermented Sriracha for the last 3 years at home. A neighbor of mine gave me a ton of recoto chilies she was growing and I feel in love with the variety. Since then I have been making very small batches of single varietal srirachas for friends and family. I also grow a decent amount of chilies at home as well. Recoto (golden & red), red fresno, bell pepper, thai, cayenne, and ancho.

Basically I am an Armenian-American guy making thai chili sauce made famous by a Vietnamese guy out of peppers from Peru. I think that pretty much captures it!

I'm doing research to possibly go legit with my hobby but I am in no rush.

Just wanted to say hi to the forum and introduce myself.

Cheers,

Welcome to THP from Sonoma, neighbor!

That sauce looks and sounds amazing. I'm a bit of a manzano/rocoto man myself
I have been shipping sauce to folks for feedback. I just ask for either a barter or that you paypal me the cost of shipping.
