Correct.....As soon as I get my old kenwood 520 re-worked I'll qualify ...gotta have at least three to four tubes...my ts-2000 would be frowned upon.  And believe you me....those old "coots" can tell if you are "solid state" Tried to fool them once, started out on the 520 then switched. Thought I could fool them.  I was wrong
