Holy crap they really are that hot

Well, I finally manned up and ate a bigger piece of that dried dorest powder I got :)
I ate this piece first and it wasn't so bad:


Then I tried to eat this piece and i thought i swallowed it but it was stuck in my tooth. It kept getting hotter even though I drank some milk, my lip is still sore in that little spot that piece was touching, i think it burned it lol

Yes, I know I'm a wuss. I haven't even tasted a habanero yet, but I'm gonna grow some and try them. I've always practically drank hot sauce with my food an i love really hot hot wings too, just never at many peppers before I decided I was gonna grow them. Besides like pepperocinis and jalapenos that is. Papa johns pepperocinis rule.

Pepperoncini's rule... on salads with bleu cheese!
 
That was my everyday hot pepper when i was young, as i was born in Italy it was the only hot pepper we knew and we used on top of any kind of food. It is still my favorite especially the pickled ones...yum yum..
 
One of my roommates brought back some more jars of pickled jalapenos his grandparents made. So crunchy and just the right amount of heat for snacking. Old people know how to grub.
