OK it's Sunday morning and I'm home alone, so I thought I'd play with some hot sauces and see what kind of damage I can inflict upon my self.
I kicked things off with eggs, who doesn't eat eggs on a Sunday morning? I don't generally put hot sauce on my eggs but I seemed to have an above average craving for heat today, probably as a result of the half bottle of Jack I consumed last night, alongside a whopping bowl of red hot chili.
So I whipped up a couple of lightly scrambled organic eggs and slopped on a nice dollop of Heartbraking Dawns 1841.
That stuff tastes amazing on just about anything, including.....eggs.
Next up, I bought a box of those shite Jimmy Dean breakfast sausages that are pre-cooked. I slapped 3 of 'em in the microwave and brought them up to temp. I then placed a slice of swiss cheese on the sausages and gave them another few seconds in the mic then put them on a liberally buttered Kaiser roll. Now then, what to use for sauce. I've got a nice buzz going with the 1841 so it's time to step it up a bit, it is Sunday after all. So I slopped a goop of Dave's Insanity sauce on the sausages and polished them off in about two minutes. Hmmmmm.....hot!
That's done so it's time for a bloody Mary with a good splash of Dave's and some nice fresh horseradish.
That's hit the spot nicely, and it's only 8.25 am. What should I do with the rest of the day??
