Home Depot Surprise

I bought these plants simply because they were attractive, about 2 years ago. Now I have a flower bed full of them! Did not even realize they were peppers until I started perusing this board. Here are a couple of shots my son took. Any idea on the names of these little wild growers.

Are the little peppers edible or more of an ornamental?

yup..was gonna say black pearl. very beautiful plant..can't believe ya found at home depot! Score!

most of the ornamentals i know of are edible..so not a problem.

You would never find them at my Home Depot…only the very basic verities!!

HD is still selling them here but not as a pepper but simply as a colorful foliage.

They have lived through our winter and continue to grow new babies like crazy.
