pics Homemade Move-able Plant Stand also some random pod pics

So I wanted to build a plant stand that I could easily move from shade to sun or into the garage in case of hard rain. I thought long and hard and finally came up with this: It's just a few 2 X 4's and two 4 step stair stringers from Lowe's and screws. In total it cost me around $30 or so. Anyways it was simple to build and just wanted to share this idea with everyone. Of course you could make it bigger with longer shelves or whatever you want to do. It holds 5 gallon buckets easily but I didn't want the leaves of the plants getting all mixed up together so I have a 2nd one built just so the plants could have more room. And I threw in just a few random pod pics.

Here is the side view. (the landscape brick is just to keep it from rolling)

Made each shelf out of two 2 X 4's so water could run out and not sit on the wood. You could use 2 X 10's but water would stand on the wood, not a problem if you treat it, but I didn't.

Just screwed on some casters and viola! Easily rolls around, even though it is slightly heavy.

Hope you enjoyed, any tips feel free to give them, I'm always looking to improve

Nice job on the stand and great looking pods!

I've been thinking about a similar idea for next year, not so I can move things on a daily basis but to make weekly adjustments as the sun/shadow position changes, and also to stop the smaller buckets from blowing over in high winds.

Thanks, and yea I don't move it everyday. I only move it when rain is in the forecast or if its supposed to be getting chilly. I'll roll them into the garage for safekeeping

Nice stand............Do you work for the "Airlines" ?.......Haha

I like that bhut, that's "Huge"...man......a must, seed saver!

Although, your Savina's look like Caribbean Red's.........which is actually a better tasting pepper

Good luck with your chili ventures...

I might be dumb but I dont get the Airline question, haha. And yes it is a nice big ol bhut and seeds were saved. And as the Red Savina's go, they came from CCN and I know their reputation is usually fantastic but I guess it is possible they got mixed up or something.

Sorry if that flew over ya, but a "Flight of Stairs" is whats used at a bare bones type airport with no commerical ramps...

No offense intended.......sorry man
