equipment-supplies Hot Fill & Hold Transfer Hose

Howdy y'all!

We are looking to upgrade our manufacturing setup to use a food grade hose. We are currently using a pneumatic filler with a traditional hopper that we will by hand with a pot.

This is the hose we are looking to upgrade to:

Wanted some input from a food safety standpoint if a hose like this would be able to put directly into the product or if we would need some extra hardware that would need to plug into it. I have seen some attachments but for the life of me can't find it via a google search. I have a wonderful drawing to help 'explain'.

Thanks all!

Handy Filler offered some high temp silicone tubing. I haven't looked at their website in a while, not sure what they offer for machines now. I'd look at high temp food grade tubing. Probably available online by the foot. Seems easier to clean than the braided SS. I use similar in my set up with a heated dispenser. I just shove the tubing onto the spout and electrical tape it in place. When finished bottling, I throw away the tape, wash the tubing and reuse.

Depending on what type of intake valve or orifice you have on your filler machine, might have to piece together a couple of tubing sizes to make it work.

hope it helps, good luck~
