You said it yourself... the plant is healthy and clearly happy where it is.  So just keep doing whatever you're already doing!  If it's very straggly you could trim it back a bit but if it's bushy enough then I'd leave it alone.  If it's in a small pot you could give it a treat by potting it up into a larger one; I'd do that in about March.

It needs some work. A lack of experience has produced a really straggly plant btu if I can bush it up and save it for next year then I'll be really happy :)
