Dont like to freeze them myself. Tried it and i dont like the taste after being in the freezer too long. Like to dehydrate some for powders and keep whole dried pods to re-hydrate them in vinegar for sauces or food when needed. Drying them locks in more flavour IMO.
Ok so I dried a few pepper halves. what do I store these in until im ready with some more for the grinding? Currently, I just have them in plastic ziplock bags. is this good enough, provided i give them some air once a day?
