How late is too late?

to start seed? Live in North Carolina. Moved during the time I WANTED to germinate seed. Wanting to start some 6-4's or Anaheims or Joe Parkers....some sort of mild Anaheim/New Mexico type chili to have some for green chili.

I live in Greenville, SC and am still starting some seeds. They will be late and may not get that much off of them, but the season is long enough here that I should get some. Where in NC are you?

Leave the lights on 24/7 once they germinate. It will knock about two weeks off the time to raise them large enough to transplant.

Maryland here, got some 7 pot's, red savinas and scorpions starting now. For a real chili head, it's never too late. EVER!

Haha, you got that right. If you run out of time in the fall, just bring inside and they will be ready next spring.
