Bonda's are my favorite peppers. I only had 2 of them make it all the way through the winter this last year, but am going to run a bunch of cuttings from the ones I have.
Good luck with them.

Am I right in assuming that their flavor is close to that of a fatali?

Yes, in my opinion the flavor is similar but not as much heat and not the same sharp bite as the fatalii
