Is 24 hour lighting ok for seedlings ?

i think i am already starting to see a little mold on the jiffy pellets..

could it have anything to do with the amount of light i am giving them... 24 hours a day at the moment.. 4th day in...thanks everyone

Nah, the hours of light won't have any effect on mold. I usually run the lights 24 hrs til they get their first leaves then swtich to 16/8 or 18/6. 24hrs doesn't hurt, but it doesn't really increase results over 16 or 18 hrs so you're just saving cash.

And use a bit of hydrogen peroxide in the water next time you water. That will get rid of your mold.

Add about a 1/2 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water, or about 2tsp of 35% hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water.
