how to fix this?

I have two problems with my new peppers. one of them the new growth looks all shriveled and scorched, but not like solar scorching. The other has black rotting spots along the outside. Does anyone know how to fix this and prevent it.

Yellowing edges on both, could be Potassium deficiency

Shouldn't Dyna Gro work on potassium deficit? I just started using it on mine the other day.

I was talking with a botanist friend today about these exact nutrition deficiencies in plants. She suggested to give them Calcium and Magnesium.

Are you reusing the soil from a previous season by any chance?

transplant shock? its somewhat normal for old leaves to look like crap and new leaves to look a little weird in this stage.

thank you I will be trying some of those nutrients, but I used fresh compost for the pots so i'm not sure
