How to pronounce datil?

Is it pronounced da till, or daytill, or or duhtil, or some other way?

The video has a hard T and emphasis on second syllable. It sounds a bit British or French. Hard T's are up to speaker imo, like in Clinton... (Clin tin) or (Clint in) or even more proper with the on not in sound.
 
But thegreenman has it. Add your hard T if you want, but the first syllable is usually emphasized.

1 t says we say the a like ay. 
 
2 t's says we say the a like apple.
 
"Datil" looks like is should be said Day-till.
 
I don't know why, I am just making an observation. And I would have used these if I GAF. Or knew what they meant. LOL
