Howdy from another newbie!

Thanks for the warm welcomes. Yes, my hands are full with critters. It's the price I pay for living across from a hayfield, but then the fields around me have me convinced the land can be made to grow stuff. I just wish I inherited my grandfather's green thumb. Somehow, he had the most prolific gardens in red shale. Plus fruit trees he had to brace so the branches didn't break under the weight of the fruit (all his trees looked like they were on crutches near the end of summer), and blueberries galore! Well, the blueberries were the one plant my grandmother got to claim as hers.

:welcome: From NC !! You will love your Kung Pao !! Mine lasted over a year with overwintering, try growing it in a 10 Gal pot. Sorry about the deer !

Good to know! I'll make sure at least one of them goes into a large pot for overwintering. I have a couple of pots that are either 8 or 10 gallon in the garage, so I'll reserve one for the kung pao.

:welcome: Welcome from NC !

Deer have been our gardening enemies ! We live in the city, so I can't use my 30-06 deer remover.
This year I will grow in buckets on ourdeck.
