Hey everyone! I'm James, just starting my second year of growing peppers. Just moved the seedlings outside as it's already been in the 80's. I've probably doubled the number of peppers I'm growing this year. Here's the list for 2013:
7 Pod Douglah
Carolina Reaper
Moruga Scorpion
Unknown Chacoense (freebie from PepperLover.com)
Chilitepin
Wild Brazil
Giant Mexican Rocoto
Red Jellybean
Orange Manzano
Hawaiian Sweet Hot
African Bird's Eye
Large Cumari
Zimbabwe Bird
Fresno
Jimmy Nardello Italian
Cascabella
Pimento
Rio Grande Hot
Carmen
Gypsy
Last year was a great success and a ton of fun. Had three amazingly good successes with a fatalii, 7 Pod Red Brain Strain, and bhut jolokia. All three plants grew at least 7 feet tall, with the bhut being nearly 10 feet wide and putting out at least 5 pounds of peppers. I'm looking forward to a lot more variety this year, as well as a lot of new flavors to try in some new recipes.
