Howdy from North Texas

Hello all.
Greetings from a little 'burb an hour north of Dallas proper. Been growing my own for 30+ years with scotch bonnets/habs being the top of the heat scale and lots below that. This year is my first venture into the "super-hots" with some Reapers thrown into the mix. A dozen or so peppers outside with a few more in the house under LED's.

The Mrs. and I are both big cooks and use chile's on a daily basis. While I love my heat I love good chile flavor even more and our cosmopolitan diet reflects that. The pantry has components from just about every heat-loving culture the world over and when I fire up the big bbq smoker rig in the backyard the culinary direction I go could be anything. We also make jams/jellies/sauces every year to give away to friends and family at xmas. I did once look into selling one of my sauces but the 100 case minimum batch and assorted fees was over ten grand. Needless to say.....   well now not even in this site for one day I realize by reading other threads that I do have other options.

Thanks for a great group, wishing I would have found it sooner but still happy to be here.

Welcome! Another Texan today, awesome!  I'm in So Cal, but my roots are in Texas. Nice to have you here!

Welcome. I'm a fresh fish here as well. Used to do sea turtle research on South Padre back in the day. I know you Texas folk have your heads screwed on right......brother went to TCU as well.
