Howdy from Texas!

How y'all doin? New member here from south Texas. I am completely new to gardening of any sort. I always had an interest in growing jalapeños but recently tried a ghost pepper and decided I had to grow them. I know it's a little late to get started but it stays hot and humid here till late December. I've also got some Carolina reaper seeds on the way. Hope to learn a lot here and be able to contribute some day.

:welcome:  from sunny South Florida!  :woohoo:

:welcome: from the garden state. Since your starting late, I would try to overwinter them.
I was reading about over wintering, I live in a town home with a very small back yard so I will be growing in containers. Which from what I understand will make it easier to over winter. Thank you all for the warm welcomes!

Hi and welcome from western Massachusetts... your username hints that you might be from the Gulf coast, no? With a small amount of help you could probably overwinter outside under a low row cover. I do something similar to get an early start up in New England.

You got it! It takes me about 7 minutes to get to the beach. I will most likely be over wintering I don't mind starting late in the season I really just want to see if I can get the plants to grow and hopefully gain some knowledge and experience for next season!
