Howdy from Texas

Hi, I've been lurking for a few months and finally decided to join in on all the fun! I've grown peppers in the backyard garden with the wife for the past two years with varying success and finally decided to get serious this winter. I accidentally over-wintered a few habs from last season, started researching, and here I sit now. We have 25ish seedlings growning in the garage (too many!) and I can't wait to reap the fruits of our labor! I'm looking forward to learning more and having some fun this season!

Howdy and  :welcome: to the THP forums! Nice of you peek out from 'lurkdom' and join the fun! Sounds like your off to a good start- having too many seedlings is better than not having as many as you'd like! Best of luck this year with your grow! Grow em' big in Texas!

Here are most of the seedlings. Sprouted at the beginning of February, they've been living in the garage under an old T12 fixture. Not ideal lighting, but it did okay. They're a little leggy, and I got over zealous with hardening them off last week

Here are the red habs I overwintered... I dug them up in September and potted them, brought em in once it started freezing (still had a few pods that were not ready), and finally got the last of the pods ripe in January. They're beat to hell, but still chugging along. We'll see how long they last...
