Thanks, all!
Florida_country_boy, NMSU is a reputable source, but unfortunately their minimum order requirement is a bit discouraging, particularly given that all the other seeds they sell (mainly mild/commercial varieties & ornamentals) are things I'm not interested in!
Given that AFAIK Dr. Paul Bosland is still running the show down there, I'm surprised they don't carry a lot more exotics in their catalog! But I guess they cater more to the needs of the New Mexico Commercial Chile Farmers, than to the hobbyist grower.
geeme, I'm in the hometown of the proud Texas team that is one game away from being in the World Series this year!
Don't feel too bad about being in the "frozen north" - this past summer, I know more than a few people down here that wouldn't have minded spending a little time up there in your neck of the woods! It was a real scorcher - even the pepper plants were unhappy!
What part of the midwest did you land in? Were you in Houston during Hurricane Rita?
Naga Jolokia Addict, NorTexChiliJs, AlabamaJack, cjbrewer5, wow, it's nice to see so many locals in here! Are there any local events or groups that you are aware of or participate in?
Damn, Nicole, that's a mighty fine greetin' there!
hixs, I think you're right!
